A judge has ruled that Tyler Robinson can wear civilian clothing during all of his upcoming court hearings — but he’ll remain in shackles for safety reasons. The decision comes as Robinson’s defense team argues that appearing in a jail jumpsuit or shackles could bias potential jurors amid heavy media attention surrounding the case. Robinson faces a capital murder charge in the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on the Utah Valley University campus in September.
